Intent

The schools in The Village Federation aim to provide all children with a high quality musical education that will engage and inspire pupils and develop a love of music. All children play at least one musical instrument and many others choose to take lessons from one of our visiting music teachers. We enjoy composing, singing and regularly performing at concerts and services.  We are proud to give all children the opportunity to play an instrument or sing so that they can take part in musical experiences out of school and so that they have the opportunity to join the school bands and choirs when they move to secondary school. Our music curriculum is delivered through a combination of class teaching and through whole school experiences.
